For 25 years, Art in the Pass has attracted thousands of local and regional visitors to our historic community of Pass Christian. As one of the premier vetted art shows on the Gulf Coast, Art in the Pass supports art education in Harrison and Hancock County schools while showcasing Pass Christian as a community that truly values art.
We are hoping that you will be an individual or business sponsor, a role that is critical to allowing us to continue our mission. The sponsorship levels and details are on the back of this letter. Funds raised directly benefit our Gulf Coast communities. Due to your generosity last year, we were able to increase to Seven our scholarships for rising high school seniors who are pursuing art education. Plus we will made significant grants for art supplies to 14 area high schools, and the Pass Christian Boys and Girls Club. Last year, with the invaluable help of our sponsors, we provided nearly $40,000 in scholarships, grants and awards.
This year we continue our tradition to thank our Sponsors with a great party. This year’s Patron party is at the home of Mr.Dave Dennis, 923 East Scenic Drive. This circa 1920 historic home is described as monumental eclectic, two-story, stucco dwelling with distinctive tiled hip roof, bracket overhang eaves, semicircular Tuscan columned portico, cobblestone driveway and impressive iron fence.
This special event will be held Sunday, March 24, starting at 6pm. We will have great food, drinks and live music with the promise to have a good time.

Festival chair Betty Sparkman said, “The mission of Art in the Pass is to support art education in Harrison and Hancock County schools. We award scholarships to rising Coast seniors who are pursuing art education plus make significant grants for art supplies to the Pass Christian School District, the Boys and Girls Club and several area high schools. This year we plan to expand our support of art education and award nearly $27,000 in scholarships and school grants.”
Art in the Pass, which works under the auspices of Pass Christian Main Street, a 501(c)(3) organization, is seeking sponsors for this year. Sponsors are a major source of revenue for the festival, which is free and open to the public. Sponsorships are available for businesses and individuals at various levels beginning at $75. Corporate sponsorships begin at the $250, and above levels include the corporate logo featured on the website and sponsors’ banner.
