Bringing Performance to the Heart of The Pass

Theatre in the Pass is a vibrant community theater group dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape of Pass Christian, Mississippi. Established in June 2014, Theatre in the Pass found its home in the historic auditorium of the Randolph Community Center on Clark Avenue—a building with deep roots as the city’s first African-American public school, built in 1928 and thoughtfully restored after Hurricane Katrina. This venue now serves as a hub for theatrical arts, hosting a variety of performances that showcase local talent and bring compelling stories to life.

Our Mission

At TitP, we are driven by two primary goals:

  • Bringing Live Theatre to the Community: We strive to provide residents of Pass Christian and neighboring coastal areas with access to high-quality live theater, fostering an appreciation for the performing arts within our community.
  • Attracting Visitors to Pass Christian: By staging engaging productions, we aim to draw theater enthusiasts from surrounding regions, highlighting the unique charm of Pass Christian. This influx of visitors supports local businesses and contributes to the city’s economic vitality.
